Long-time Friends and Fundraisers Christine and Christian Fortin are running the 2013 ING New York City Marathon – Sunday November 3-2013 for Emily’s House (EH) and Patrick 4 Life (P4L)
The Fortin’s vision has been steadfast – Patrick 4 Life will ensure that every child in every classroom in Ontario is educated about HIV/AIDS.
For over 8 years this wonderful North Bay Family and their friends have embraced PAC’s vision to one day open Toronto’s first pediatric palliative residential hospice. June 2013, our vision became a reality – Emily’s House, a 10-bed home-away-from-home that will serve over 300 children and youth annually from across the province.
Please support the Fortin’s and their 16th Marathon – every dollar raised for this special campaign will be split evenly supporting P4L’s and EH’s programs.

About Patrick 4 Life and Emily’s House
Patrick 4 Life, a registered charity, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating youth about the prevention of HIV/AIDS. You are familiar of our unwavering P4L vision to ensure that every child in every classroom in the Province of Ontario will experience an HIV/AIDS education program. Christian and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing support to our family and of the Partici-Patrick program involving 2,000 students, 35 classrooms, 165 teachers, and 150 volunteers, in our 8th year!
Emily’s House will welcome up to 300 children, youth and their families annually, providing a third alternative to a hospital bed or home-hospice support, particularly when the burden of home care may be too great for the parents. Compassionate and comprehensive services will be provided round-the-clock through a medical support team and trained volunteers.
