Louise practices exclusively in the area of tax litigation. She provides support and advocacy at the audit stage, through the objection procedure and in court if necessary. She has appeared in the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Louise was selected as one of the 550 women to appear in the Women in the Lead directory, featuring women whose professional expertise and experience recommend them as candidates for corporate board appointments. She is the co-creator and former adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School. Louise is also a past member of BenefAction Foundation and a current active board member of Birthright.

Peter has been a supporter of PAC for several years and is currently serving as Chair, Finance Committee. Over the past two decades, Peter has held various roles in finance, strategy, and project management at RBC where he is currently responsible for leading the design and implementation of an effective operational risk management program for various functional groups. In addition to serving on the elder board of his church, he has also spent the past few summers volunteering with Greater Europe Mission to work with various marginalized groups across Europe, including the Roma (gypsies) and immigrant refugees.

Maggie joined our Board of Directors in June 2014. Maggie is Senior Director of Health System Programs at the Ontario Medical Association, and leads a team mandated to equip physicians to be full participants in system programs including Health Links initiative. Maggie earned her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Toronto. She has designations from the Canadian College of Health Care Leaders as a Certified Health Executive and from York University in Professional Ethics. Her career has focused on innovative approaches to developing and implementing pan-Canadian quality initiatives and the use of data analytics in health care, with a passion for translating policy to proactive. Maggie has a passion to contribute to the aspirational goal of ensuring the appropriate care is provided at the right time and in the right place regardless of circumstance or geography.

Mel is a senior partner at Lipton LLP and has over 35 years’ experience specializing in assurance and advisory services, financing, tax, estate and strategic planning for corporations, partnerships and not for profit organizations. He was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Accountants of Ontario in 2013. He obtained his director certification sponsored by the ICD and the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, listed on the TSX and NYSE and serves on the Board of Trustees and is chairman of the Audit Committee of Morguard North American Residential REIT which is listed on the TSX. Me! is a former member of the North York General Hospital Foundation Professional Advisory Committee, the Accounting Standards Board (CICA) Private Enterprises Advisory Committee, and the Discipline and Professional Conduct Committees of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.

Larry, Principal and Senior Consultant for McDowall Associates, joined our Board of Directors in June 2014. Consulting in the Human Resources field for over 27 years, Larry has extensive experience assisting clients with their compensation strategy, compensation program design and administration needs. In 2010, Larry purchased McDowall Associates along with two partners. Since then, the firm has grown from seven associates to 18. Larry graduated with an Honours B.A. in English and History from the University of Toronto 1 in 1982. Larry has spoken at conferences on a variety of compensation related topics, and has contributed to Canadian HR Reporter Magazine. He is on the facility of the Directors College (McMaster University and Conference Board of Canada) where he has been an instructor on the topic of executive compensation program design.
Kathy Ribble Board Member Since: 2012
Kathryn has served on various councils and forums locally and nationally whose purposes have been strategic in developing and moving ministry to children forward in Canadian churches and academic institutions. Kathryn has served on the Canadian Children's Leadership Network Executive and has participated locally in the Children's Pastor's Network in Durham region as well as being part of a children's ministry forum for several years under the umbrella of the Canadian Evangelical Fellowship. Kathryn embraces opportunities for ongoing professional development and study; loves to travel, read, provide hospitality, network and enjoy time with her family.
Barbara Walkden, Board Member Board Member Since: 2009
Barbara for the past 30 years has been involved in fundraising, latterly as the Director of Development for Yonge Street Mission. Previously the Millennium Coordinator for the United Bible Societies and the Director of Ministry Funding for the Canadian Bible Society. Prior to her fund development career Barbara was in advertising and research. Barbara is a member of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church and currently serves on their Stewardship Committee.
Dr. Bill Watson (MD, CCFP, FCFP) Board Member Since: 2013
Staff Physician, St. Michael’s Hospital; Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, UofT
Dr. Bill Watson received his MSc and MD degree from McGill University in 1973 and 1977 respectively, and has been practicing as a family physician at St. Michael's Hospital since 1980. In addition to having a busy practice which included obstetrical deliveries for 25 years, he has had a strong focus on medical education over the past 25 years. He was Residency Program Director from 1985-1998 and was a member of the Curriculum Task Force.
He is currently the Chair of the Working with Families Institute, an interest group within the Department of Family and Community Medicine, which focuses on educating residents and Family Physicians in the area of medical counselling and psychosocial skills. He recently co-edited "Working with Families: Case-based modules on common problems in Family Medicine" (2003). His academic interests include educating physicians in the areas of medical counselling, early year’s development, child health and parenting, and cardiovascular risk assessment. He is on the faculty of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto at the rank of Associate Professor. Dr. Watson is happily married to his wife Lindsay, who works as a marriage and family therapist, and teaches at the University of Toronto. They have four adult children and one grandchild. He plays squash and golf and works out regularly.
