What is Hike for Hospice Palliative Care?

A unique national fundraising event across Canada that brings together organizations working together in hospice palliative care to raise funds and awareness in their community.

National Hospice Palliative Care Week 2010 will take place from Sunday, May 2nd to Saturday, May 8th, 2010. Hike for Hospice Palliative Care 2010 will kick off the week on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010!

What is hospice palliative care?

Hospice palliative care is whole-person health care that aims to relieve suffering and improve the quality of living and dying.

Hospice palliative care is most effectively delivered by an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
